A Little About Me...
Traci in Kep, Cambodia
My name is Traci Olson, and I am currently a senior at the University of Utah majoring in Park, Recreation, and Tourism with an emphasis in Sustainable Tourism Management. Traveling is a strong passion of mine, and I have been fortunate enough to travel to destinations all over the world. In addition to visiting a majority of the fifty states, I have also had the opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico, Mexico, Canada, Costa Rica, Peru, England, France, Switzerland, Austria, Liechtenstein, Germany, Italy, China, Japan, Thailand, and Cambodia. Throughout my travels, I have seen fascinating sights, from natural beauty to man-made wonders. My travel experiences have opened my eyes to diverse cultures, customs, people, history, foods, and experiences, which have shaped me into the open-minded and adventurous person that I am today. Due to my past extraordinary travel experiences, there are many destinations that I still wish to explore to further enrich my life. I plan on living a life full of traveling the world, and I am passionate about implementing sustainable tourism practices to protect our environment for future generations to enjoy as well. Everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy tourist destinations both domestically and internationally; therefore, supporting and traveling responsibly is essential. After I graduate, I hope to implement my passion for sustainable tourism by providing international tours for the Deaf community.
